No technical knowledge needed. Follow the steps below and you'll go from download to done — working even when your internet doesn't.
There are two versions. Both are the full Kramm app — pick the one that fits your computer.
What you need: Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), about 250 MB free space, and internet once for downloading and signing in. After that, most of the app works offline.
Get Kramm only from the official download page, so you always receive the genuine, latest version.
kramm.app/download..exe file (about 80 MB). Wait until the download finishes completely.Kramm-Setup-*.exe or Kramm-Portable-*.exe.Tip: the page always shows the newest version number and date. If a friend sends you an .exe file directly, prefer downloading fresh — yours may be outdated.
Follow the column that matches the file you downloaded.
Kramm-Setup-*.exe.Kramm-Portable-*.exe to your Desktop for easy access.“Windows protected your PC” (SmartScreen)? This is normal for new apps. Click More info, then Run anyway. Kramm comes from the official site and contains no ads or bundled software.
You need internet one time here. Signing in connects the app to your secure cloud account so your data syncs.
kramm.app.Google sign-in: it opens securely in your browser, then returns you to the app automatically. Your password is never stored in the app.
Everything lives in the left sidebar. Here are the views you'll use daily:
Your home. Add tasks (Ctrl + N), drag them between days, set priorities.
Only what matters today. Tick things off — it feels great.
Build streaks for exercise, reading, anything. Check in daily.
Log spending and watch your savings goals grow.
Focus timer: 25 minutes work, 5 minutes rest. The app can remind you.
Team calendar & Kramm Control need internet (see Step 7).
Handy shortcuts: Ctrl + N new task · Ctrl + K command bar (Kramm Control) · Ctrl + D switch theme · Esc close popups.
Travelling, power cut, bad Wi-Fi? Keep working. The desktop app saves everything on your PC first.
Two exceptions: Team Calendar (with team chat) and Kramm Control / AI features need internet. If you open them offline you'll see a friendly “needs internet” screen instead of your data. Everything else works.
You don't have to press anything. Reconnect and the app handles it.
kramm.app on your phone or another PC — the same changes are there. ✨Good to know: if two devices edited the same task, the newest change wins. Your data is never silently deleted — empty saves are blocked by a safety check.
These two views are live and collaborative, so they need an internet connection:
Shared calendars, live tasks and team chat with your colleagues. Offline you'll see a “needs internet” notice.
The AI command center and chat (Ctrl + K). It thinks in the cloud, so it pauses while you're offline.
If you see the offline notice, just reconnect — no data is lost, and the view loads by itself once you're back.
Kramm keeps itself up to date whenever you're online. No manual downloads, ever.

If you downloaded from kramm.app/download, the file is genuine — choose “Allow / Restore” in your antivirus. (A Microsoft code-signing certificate, which removes these warnings entirely, is on the roadmap.)
That's by design, not a bug: Team Calendar and Kramm Control need live internet. Reconnect and the view loads on its own. Your personal tasks and habits are unaffected.
